OUR KINDERGARTEN IS ONE THE SEVEN HUNDRED TALENT POINTS IN HUNGARY
Our kindergarten, the Kindergarten of Szabadságtelep as a „Pearl” Talent Point is the beneficiary of the application granted by TÁMOP's - forming National Talentmanager System – Hungarian Genius Integrated Talentmanager program 3.4.4/B/08/1. The amount of the financial support for the kindergarten : 9.379.300 hungarian forints.

With the help of this application of supporting the recognition of the gifted children and grant them early development, the Kindergarten of Szabadságtelep had an opprtunity to buy new items to it's inventory, maintaining the operationalness of the Talent Workshops, organizing activities, grant opportunity for children to go camping and attendting to professional presentations.
The application was realized between 2010. 07. 01. - 2011.06.30. The program's realization was patronized by Euripoan Unios, and the co-financing of the Europian Social Fund Committee.
What's a Talent Point?
The Talent points' main function if to provide guidance, professional orientation, opportunities and information to the talented student inf a personalized form. The Talent points are collecting and thematizly offering the opportunities of talentmanagment in our country and beyond our country's boarders.
With these functions the Talent points are offering:
· Constant monitoring the regions outstandly talented students.
· Delivering information about talentmanagment to the System of Talent points' of the country and this way to other Talent points.
· Constantly maintaning and expanding their human and financial resourses (mentors, tutors, supporters, etc.)
· Constantly interacting with their local enviourment (attendance in local decision making, local public life, local PR opprtunities. With enough interest and constant contacbuilding it grants the ooprtunity to local gifted to have a Talentsupporter Council.)
· Working in state level Promotional works and representing these promotions' local interest
· specific local funkcions, like the talentmanagment of the minorities, capitalizing local geographic and sociologic advantages.
Talent points are open institutes which are providing information and support to every talented person belongs to their settlement and their region. It's important that every voluntary pedagoguge, psichologist or IT-related person can help the work of the Talent point. This support can be a long term collaboration or occasional.
The Talent point can be founded by a local person (or their representatives) who are willing and capable to support the local people with talents and gifts.
The task of operating a Talent point can be wielded by different constitutions: Schools, churches, the women's association. A new instutite can be organized to operate the task, or an institute woth similar profile can add talentmanagment into it's activities. This kind of variety is accepted and supported.
But every infformation gives the assumption that the Talentcenter is the result of the local community's common work.
The complexity of the task and the prominent young peoples' variety of talent can't afford us to create a „focused-program” or and „action-plan”, with premade schemes in it's inventory. The newly appearing talent can be represent itself in many ways and it needs newer and newer ways to be highly developed. This kind of instruments an support can be provided by well oiled community with a huge amount of creativity.
Our institutes feats and achievments to qualify as a Talent Point:
· Our local program of the kindergarten supports activity-centered persondevelopment in focus of these parts of education: singing and music, sports and dance, puppeteering and drama.
Professional expertise: Our institute have two pedagogues with a degree of talentdeveloping. They help us to recognize the gifted children, fully or partially recognize the nature of the gifted's talent, organizing, developing and coordinating talentmanaging programs.
